Public Participation Toolbox
SummaryText
The IAP2's Public Participation Toolbox provides a reference guide on forty-five techniques to share information. Some of the communication techniques covered are press releases, newspaper inserts, television, briefings, in-person surveys, focus groups and open houses. Each technique has guidelines divided into three sections: always think it through, what can go right, and what can go wrong.
The IAP2 is an association of members who seek to promote and improve the practice of public participation in relation to individuals, governments, institutions, and other entities that affect the public interest in nations throughout the world.
