Development action with informed and engaged societies
After nearly 28 years, The Communication Initiative (The CI) Global is entering a new chapter. Following a period of transition, the global website has been transferred to the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in South Africa, where it will be administered by the Social and Behaviour Change Communication Division. Wits' commitment to social change and justice makes it a trusted steward for The CI's legacy and future.

Co-founder Victoria Martin is pleased to see this work continue under Wits' leadership. Victoria knows that co-founder Warren Feek (1953–2024) would have felt deep pride in The CI Global's Africa-led direction.

We honour the team and partners who sustained The CI for decades. Meanwhile, La Iniciativa de Comunicación (CILA) continues independently at cila.comminitcila.com and is linked with The CI Global site.

Enemies of Truth offers you the true understanding of what truth is and the consequences that ensue when you walk to defend it. This fine work of art chronicles the most compelling and interesting journalist’s life enshrined with threats, fears, and other dilemmas associated with today’s journalism. In this mind-gripping tale, the author walks you through the ins and outs of darling to report the truth for the sake of the people. Furthermore, the author leaves no stone unturned in revealing how depraved journalists keep tarnishing Zambia’s media, the core problems permeating local media (though most journalists shun to admit them), and how politicians, who take advantage of sloppy media environments, ruin journalists. By far, Enemies of Truth unravels the true foundation of professional journalism, the secretes to a successful journalism career, and what you can do to reach the highest pinnacles of success as a journalist.
